Founded in 1975, the Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan and the Bronx Health Sciences Librarians -BQSI/MB - consortia is a non-profit organization affiliated with the NY-NJ Chapter of the Medical Library Association.  BQSIMB's mission is to facilitate professional development and advance health sciences librarianship by supporting its members to meet the challenges of providing quality library services for health care organizations in Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan and the Bronx.  BQSI/MB serves as the leading resource for education, advocacy, and networking for New York City health sciences librarians.
