The Medical Library of the St. Vincent's Hospital Manhattan has been closed

St. Vincent's Hospital at Manhattan, under the threat of complete closing,  has made a decision to close the library, which served 12 residency and 9 fellowship programs, along with other medical and hospital staff. All three medical library positions (one professional, two clerical) have been eliminated. The library is closed as of February 26, 2010.

We wish Rimma Perelman, a former Chief of the Medical Library Services of the St. Vincent's Hospital, the  the best of luck in her search for a new job.
